Filter Cleaning: Spun Bond Polyester Cartridges

ECOSPUN polyester filter cartridges can be cleaned, however, you must follow the instructions below and use caution.

DO NOT USE

  • High-pressure air or water
  • Brushes
  • Oils, solvents, or harsh detergents
  • Wash filter from the dirty side of the filter

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Pulse the filter off line prior to removing the filter from the collector.
  • Remove the filter from the collector.
  • Blow the contaminant off the filter with the cleanest (non-wet) air available.
  • Wash the filter with a low pressure washer from the INSIDE of the cartridge.
  • Use 40 – 45 PSIG.
  • Let the filters dry for 72 hours (or install in collector and run fan only until dry).

FILTERS MUST BE THOROUGHLY DRY BEFORE RUNNING IN NORMAL OPERATION
