FILTER INSTALLATION

1. Install filter cup over the studs on Pleated Bag upgrade.

2. Slide the adapter sleeve over the filter cup until the lower bead engages the groove in the filter cup.

3. Fasten a quick release band clamp around the lower groove of the adapter sleeve and secure.

4. Continue steps 1, 2, & 3 until filter cups and adapter sleeves have been installed on all filters.

5. Grip the filter assembly at the top end and slide adapter sleeve up onto the tube sheet cup until the upper retaining bead engages the groove in the tube sheet cup.

6. Fasten a band clamp around the upper groove of the adapter sleeve and secure.

7. Check assembly for straightness.

FILTER REMOVAL

1. To remove the filter only, loosen and remove the lower band clamp.

2. Gripping the filter at the top end, gently work the filter cup out of the adapter sleeve. The adapter sleeve may remain clamped to the tube sheet cup for further use.

3. If replacement of the adapter sleeve is required, loosen and remove the upper band clamp. Remove the filter, adapter, and lower band clamp as an assembly
